9dbi omni w/ RP-SMA connector

Compatible with Wireless Access Points & cards that have RP-SMA antenna jacks.

All USB Wireless adapters that we offer have an RP-SMA(female) jack that is compatible with this antenna. This Omni-Directional antenna radiates signal with a beam of 360 degrees as also receives signal from 360 degrees around it.

As client antenna: Connect to an access point in a certain direction. As access point antenna: Provides signal to clients that are all in a certain direction (80-degree horizontal beamwidth).

Compliant with 802.11b & 802.11g (North America, Europe, Australia). 2.4Ghz frequency band Mounts directly onto RP-SMA(female) connector of access point, bridge, client, or booster.

Compatibility

RP-SMA connector fits all items that have a RP-SMA-female jack/connector (Reverse Polarity [RP] SMA).

Gender of RP-SMA is counter-intuitive:  Most PCI wireless cards (for desktop PC) have RP-SMA (female) connectors.

Antenna Gender Determination

Gender of RP-SMA is counter-intuitive in two ways!  Please observe product picture & note it is correct.

1. The gender is referring to the pins inside--not the threads.  RP-SMA male has threads on inside.
2. "RP" stands for Reverse Polarization - the pins are female when they appear to be male, and vice versa.
